Assessment

Please ensure you have the following prior to your appointment:

1. Your dog(s) on a leash with a quick-release collar or a harness. Please avoid spike, shock, or any training collars.
2. Copies of your dog(s)’ vaccination records, if not uploaded online.

2. Check-in: Proceed to the reception area with the green “Playful Acres” sign.

3. Welcome and Assessment: A member of our team will welcome you and your furry friend(s) and begin evaluating your dog’s behaviour with humans, other dogs, and within our facility. You’ll initially be present until your dog feels comfortable with our staff member.

4. Wait in Vehicle: Once a baseline comfort level is established, please wait in your vehicle for the remainder of the assessment (approximately 15 to 30 minutes).

5. Departure: We’ll contact you to provide an update on your dog’s progress, and you may then depart from the premises. Check our Facebook page for updates and photos of your pup through the day!

6. Pickup & Feedback: We’ll see you back between 2:00PM – 3:00PM for pickup and feedback on the completed assessment!

Please double check your assessment booking time and date, assessment bookings are non-refundable.
